Grand Starex (2016)
One of the most common sights here in the Philippines is the Grand Starex, Hyundai PH’s entry in to the van segment of the automotive industry. A tough and durable machine, capable of seating 10 or 12 people at max, the Grand Starex’ proven reliability has catapulted Hyundai Philippines’ sales on a high altitude.
Joining the ranks of the popular Toyota Hi-Ace and the Nissan Urvan, the Grand Starex’ edge lies on its user-friendliness and simplistic approaches to design, yet still showing the Korean automaker’s cool and active personality. High resale value also is its trump card, with many regarding it as a “bang for the buck” investment. Powered by a 2.5L VGT CRDi diesel engine, connected to a 5-speed automatic gearbox with manual mode to cater the driving purists among us. Roomier, family-oriented, and tough.
